Current Work Led by Young Brent Foundation
Church End Youth Anchor
Brent's new Youth Hub! Expected to open Summer 2026!
The Church End Youth Anchor is coming to life - a dedicated space designed to empower young people through creativity, collaboration, and community. This development is part of Brent Council's £4 million investment in youth spaces across Brent.
We’re proud to be collaborating with United Borders on this project, which directly addresses critical gaps in youth provision within one of London’s most diverse yet underserved communities.
Flourishing Futures
A peer-led research project, dedicated to empowering young people aged 16-25 in Brent to address barriers to employment and foster inclusivity.
Funded by Youth Futures Foundation's Connected Futures Programme, The Flourishing Futures partnership comprises of Brent Council, MTVH, Hyde, and Peabody Housing Associations.
Flourishing Futures is committed to empower young voices in Brent through our inclusive decision-making processes. With a dedicated team featuring four enthusiastic young members on our project board and ten peer researchers, we're actively fostering a community where every voice matters.
Local Cultural Educational Partnership (LCEP)
The LCEP works to connect schools, cultural organisations, artists, and community partners so that all children and young people in Brent can access high quality creative and cultural opportunities.
Brent has one of the youngest and most diverse populations in London, alongside a vibrant grassroots creative community.
The LCEP exists to better connect these strengths so that creativity is not something young people access by chance, but something embedded in their education, identity, and future pathways.
