Flourishing Futures
A peer-led research project, dedicated to empowering young people aged 16-25 in Brent to address barriers to employment and foster inclusivity.
Funded by Youth Futures Foundation's Connected Futures Programme, The Flourishing Futures partnership comprises of Brent Council, MTVH, Hyde, and Peabody Housing Associations.
Flourishing Futures is committed to empower young voices in Brent through our inclusive decision-making processes. With a dedicated team featuring four enthusiastic young members on our project board and ten peer researchers, we're actively fostering a community where every voice matters.
Brent Goes Global
Brent Go Global is a three-year volunteer program that will see three cohorts of young people aged 17-21 from the borough of Brent produce an international social action project with groups of young people in various countries and continents.
This project will see young people from Brent learn from different cultures throughout the world, attend high-energy sessions learning new skills such as fundraising andproject management, develop an understanding of social action, meet guest speakers, meet new people, and have loads of fun!
The project incorporates Young Brent's key approached of Education, Environment and Employment with a specific focus on intercultural dialogue and intersectionality.
