About Organisation

Iraqi Welfare Association

What we do:

We are a charity that was set up in 1991 to assist with the increasing number of refugees coming to the UK, providing free advice face to face or on phone to clients about legal issues, family problems , children law, housing and welfare benefit advice.

We provide an advice service on immigration, housing, and state benefits, and also hold summer camps, trips and short courses for the community.

We have excellent experience in organising social and sport activities for families and kids, as well as us offering a range of physical and sport activities, educational and workshops about teenage problems, studying preferences, fighting bullying at school and others.

Additionally, we also have excellent experience in support young people in finding their first job as we worked with the government in kick start scheme and allocate many new graduated in suitable jobs according to their qualifications and skills.
