Tech Bootcamp for ages 13 -18
TutorHive are committed to improving education by bringing students together with the best businesses and mentors. We have partnered with them to bring a tech boot camp called TechHive to life, working with leading businesses in the technology sector.
Students will have the opportunity to learn from leading businesses such as Sky, PWC, and HSBC Innovation Banking about next-generation technology. With topics ranging from AI to Music to Blockchain, there will be something of interest for everyone and is a great opportunity for students to learn about the technology they are likely to use when they enter the workforce.
Beyond preparing students for future careers, the boot camp promises to be fun and engaging for the children to interact with new technologies. They will collaborate with other students and be introduced to mentors from partner companies to support their career development and education.
The boot camp and sessions will be run by: Sky, the global telecommunications and technology company; PWC, leading professional services firm offering consulting support for UK businesses; HSBC Innovation Banking, a branch of the trusted bank that supports businesses and investors as they scale; BlockChain Sensei, a financial literacy education platform that works with schools and foundations to educate young people on financial safety and careers; Cybercy, cybersecurity specialists working with businesses in the public sector; Beatsora, a music platform providing musicians with the tools they need to drive their careers; and BAE HQ, the number one community for British Asian Entrepreneurs.
Students sign up via the OneHive portal, where they can select which sessions they would like to join. They can also message and book time with mentors from partner businesses, securely on the platform.
