The Youth Endowment Fund and Comic Relief - A supportive home grant

The Youth Endowment Fund and Comic Relief's £10 million A supportive home grant round is now open for applications!

In this round we're looking to invest in six to ten projects in England and Wales that’ll help us learn more about how early investment in family support programmes can prevent children and young people from becoming involved in violence later in their lives.

We're looking to fund and evaluate projects focused on four areas:

  1. Parenting programmes (including programmes for foster carers or people working with children in residential care), which help parents and their children to develop positive behaviours and relationships.
  1. Family therapy interventions (including for children in foster care), which offer whole families structured forms of therapy.
  1. Programmes to reduce parental conflict, which are specifically designed to improve relationships between parents or carers.
  2. Domestic abuse interventions, which are specifically designed to prevent and reduce harm to children and adults.

To find out what the existing research says about each of these approaches, read our helpful evidence summary.

Applications can be made via our website and close at 5pm Wednesday 1st December 2021.

If you're interested in applying, please ensure that you've read our application guidance before you begin. It contains important information about:
