DofE: Access Without Limits Grants for Community Organisations

Grants are available for voluntary, community and social enterprise sector organisations to allow them to set up and deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Award to create more opportunities for marginalised young people (14 to 24 years) to access the Award.

The aim is to open up access to the Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Award to young people who are living in difficult circumstances, including those unable to afford to take part due to the cost of living crisis.

The Award is the world’s leading youth achievement Award which gives 14-24 year olds the opportunity to be the best they can be. There are three progressive levels of programmes, which when successfully completed, lead to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.

The funding is intended for partner organisations to help get set up and support their young people to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh awards programme. The funding can be tailored to the organisation’s needs and can vary as the project progresses.
