Sustainable Development Training
YBF member organisations are invited to develop their knowledge, confidence and skills to educate and inspire the young people and families their work with, to reduce their carbon footprint.
The long-term training will consist of meeting on12 Fridays across the year from December 2022 to July 2023 in different venues and green spaces in Brent, starting on 2nd December 2022.
Objectives:
- Develop knowledge, confidence and new capabilities to educate and raise awareness with the families organisations work with.
- Enhance bid writing skills in environmental areas, enabling more organisations to bring in grants to run activities and opportunities for young people.
- Enable staff working with young people to inspire and motivate them to reduce their carbon footprint, engage with the environment, and help contribute to making their local area a better place to live.
