She Is Summit 2025

We brought together 24 inspiring young women from Brent and 24 powerful female industry leaders to spark change, share stories, and accelerate progress in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) agenda. The energy was absolutely electric as we built connections, empowered each other, ate some yummy food and supported ambitions of the next generation of female leaders!

The idea for the 2025 She Is Summit was born from a powerful screening of Save Me, hosted by MTVH and the Young Brent Foundation. The amazing @amani.simpson, the film's director, led a moving discussion that opened hearts and minds, encouraging young women to share their personal stories and thoughts. With up to 60,000 girls in England at risk of serious violence, it’s more crucial than ever to keep these vital conversations going and ensure we have the right support in place.

A HUGE thank you to MTVH, SNG, Hyde Housing, and Brent Council for collaborating on this event, co-designed with the brilliant young women of Brent.
