Introducing Vi-Brent!

Introducing Vi-Brent!
A group of nine Brent-based arts organisations, including Punchdrunk Enrichment, Fresh Arts, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Awareness Tap, Unique Community, Young Brent Foundation, Mahogany Arts, Garden Studios and Brent Council have have been awarded £550,000 funding through Arts Council England’s Priority Places programme.
Already identified as a Priority Place in the Arts Council England’s 2024-2027 delivery plan, Brent is set to benefit from the large-scale initiative designed to reach underserved communities. The funding will focus on engaging those who are less likely to access the arts or consider a creative career in the arts as a viable option.
The initiative, known as ‘Vi-Brent’ will bring new arts opportunities to young people across Brent, from immersive theatre and music to filmmaking and carnival arts. Over the next three years, Vi-Brent will provide arts education, skills bootcamps, and a children’s arts festival, all while empowering young creatives to explore career pathways in the arts.
