Career Catalyst: Flourishing Futures’ First Networking Event

This youth-led, youth-focused gathering was organised and hosted by Flourishing Futures’ Youth Employment Ambassadors, who brought together an incredible panel of Park Royals creative industry; artists David Samuel from Rarekind, Shanayah Dadral from POW, and Jonathan Brewin, co-founder of the Republic of Park Royal.

The event showed just how ambitious Brent’s young people are—full of energy, passion, and ready to take on new challenges. With eyes wide open to the opportunities around them, they connected, heard real stories of success, and learned that the path to a career isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it.

We also shared a few slices of pizza along the way—because career development doesn’t always have to be serious business! The takeaway? The road to employment may not always be straightforward, but with the right mindset and support, the future is bright, and the opportunities in Park Royal are endless.
